Kenisha Webster is a ceramic artist working in sculptural and mixed media forms. She holds an Associate of Arts in Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in ceramics.

     Her work explores transformation, memory, and healing through the use of reclaimed clay and wild clay sourced from her family’s land. Grounded in her African heritage, Webster creates pieces that carry history - using fire, surface, and form to shift materials from what was into what can be.

     Her practice moves between vessel, sculpture, and mixed media, often pushing clay beyond traditional use as both material and pigment. Through this approach, she creates work that reflects strength, burden, and resilience while honoring the people and stories that inform it.

     Webster has received multiple awards in ceramics and painting, and continues to expand her practice through material exploration and process-driven work.
